Quincy Democrats to hold Convention Caucus

Electing Quincy Delegates to the

2026 MASSACHUSETTS DEMOCRATIC STATE CONVENTION 
Nominate Candidates for Statewide Officers and US Senator.

The Caucus will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The doors open at 9am at Quincy High School Lobby and Cafe Area, where all 6 Wards will Caucus.

Wards 1,3,4,5 and 6 will be electing 9 Delegates and 4 Alternates.
Ward 2 will be electing 7 Delegates and 4 Alternates.
 

Date of Convention:    Friday evening May 29th and Saturday May 30th 
Location:  DCU Center, 50 Foster St Worcester, MA 01608.

Delegates will vote to nominate a candidate for endorsement by the Massachusetts Democratic Party. The votes cast at the Convention will also determine which candidates’ names appear on the September Massachusetts Democratic Party ballot.

Delegates elected at the Caucus are expected to represent the views of their respective wards and to maintain an open and impartial perspective when considering all candidates prior to the Convention. Democrats in each ward are encouraged to communicate their preferences to their elected delegates between the Caucus and the Convention.

The caucus is opened to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Quincy. A pre-registered Democrat must be 16 years old by Thursday, February 19th and must be pre-registered by the time of the caucus. All registered democrats and pre-registered democrats may vote and be elected as delegate or alternate during the caucus.

Youth (age 16 to 35), people with disabilities, people of color, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+community not elected as delegates or alternates at the caucus are encouraged to apply to be add-on Delegates. Following the Caucus, you may also apply to be considered for an add-on position by applying at MassDems.org
