Calling all Quincy Dems! It's time to caucus!

  • Quicy High School 100 Coddington Street Quincy, MA, 02169 United States (map)

On Feb 10, 2018 at 10:15 a.m., Quincy Democrats are meeting to vote on the delegates to the June 1-2, 2018 state Democratic Convention.  Doors open at 9:30 A.M.
The caucus is open to the public.  However, to vote you must be a properly registered Quincy Democrat.   See the official flyer on the event in PDF format here.
Please join us!  If you are interested in becoming involved in politics, now is your chance!

I'm registered to vote, but not as a Democrat.  Can I vote at the caucus?  A voter may become a Democrat at the caucus, and by doing so he/she can vote at the caucus.
**  You do not need to be an active Democrat to participate in the caucus.  We know there are a lot of voters who are energized and want to become involved.  We encourage your participation!  Really.  ***

Do I need to be present at the caucus to be elected as a delegate:  Yes.  The only exception is for persons serving in U.S. Armed Forces, who must advise the Chair by February 1, 2018 of their desire for consideration.

Seventeen year olds:  A pre-registered Democrat who resides in a Quincy ward and will be 18 on or before September 18, 2018 can take part in the caucus, run for delegate or alternate and vote for delegate or alternate.
